With more than 28 years of experience in the New York City fashion industry, Venae Fowler brings a seasoned eye, extensive on-set experience, and an unparalleled understanding of fashion, image, fit, and presentation to her work as Co-Owner of Dawn + Corinne Styling.

Venae’s career as a professional fashion model has spanned nearly three decades and includes features in numerous national publications, including Essence, Ebony, Vibe, The Source, Today’s Black Woman, and Black Men, as well as a more recent appearance in People magazine. Among her most recognizable work is a national Ultra Sheen print campaign that ran for six years, establishing her as a familiar face within the beauty and fashion landscape.

Throughout her career, Venae has worked with notable fashion brands including FUBU, ENYCE, and Girbaud—brands that helped define the fashion culture of the 1990s. Her experience extends beyond print and commercial work to the runway, including walking during New York Fashion Week, as well as behind the scenes as a fit model for Tommy Hilfiger. This unique experience gave her an invaluable understanding of garment fit, construction, proportion, movement, and the way clothing translates from the designer’s vision to the individual body.

Since 2012, Venae has maintained a consistent presence at New York Fashion Week, remaining closely connected to the designers, creative community, emerging trends, and ever-evolving language of fashion. Her continued involvement allows her to bring both an appreciation for fashion’s history and a contemporary perspective to every styling experience.

Her television and entertainment credits include appearances on The Sopranos and The Chris Rock Show, as well as an appearance on The Wendy Williams Show representing Bobbi Brown Cosmetics. Her commercial and advertising work has also included Jenny Craig television commercials and digital print campaigns.

Nearly three decades of experience across fashion, print, runway, television, commercial advertising, beauty, and fit modeling have shaped Venae’s expertise far beyond simply being in front of the camera. She understands firsthand how clothing should fit, move, photograph, and communicate. She understands proportion, styling, visual balance, presentation, and the small details that can transform an outfit from simply beautiful to unforgettable.
